Buffalo State's Audit Schedule, or Audit Testing Matrix, reflects planned and completed campus-initiated audits for campus programs. SUNY has identified eight high-risk areas and those areas are audited on a schedule of once every three years. Additionally, the college will include other program areas as a result of the periodic "Vulnerability Assessment" or "Campus Programs Operations" survey and review.
The Buffalo State community should be aware that entities external to the college, notably the NYS Office of the State Comptroller and the SUNY Office of the University Auditor, routinely schedule audits which may be performed at this college and/or other SUNY campuses. Once specified these audits occur typically within a narrow timeframe and are not reflected in Buffalo State's annual schedule of audits.
